Dashain

There are many festival in Nepal and one of them is Dashain. Dashain is a very joyful religious festival of the hindus. It is the greatest among their festivals. It is celebrate in the month of september or october. It lasts for fifteen days. The tenth day known as Vijayadashami is the most important. Goddess Durga is worshipped on this occasion. This festival is the symbol of the victory of truth over untruth. People go to their superior to receive blessing from them. The superior offer Tika on their forehead and Jamara on their ear. This festival brings extreme delight. People wear new clothes and enjoy delicious meals and they exchanges greetings.
